Precision and Performance. Q-Beams Delivers.

It all started with a passion for lowering cars and building beetle beams back in 2009 and because of that mission to build, create and experiment - Q-beams Suspension Work was formed.

With 15 years experience we have strived to educate ourselves on many suspension related projects and issues any client has come to us for, whether it be lowered (stance), drifting, spinning, racing , daily suspension, 4x4 and load lifters.

Over the years we have successfully built an authentic brand that stays true to our values and who we are as a team and individuals.

Through the success of this we went from installing and fabricating to becoming one of South Africas leading suppliers for various air suspension related parts. Some of these parts are made in house with our CNC lathe and some sourced from reputable manufacturers.

Our Mission

Providing efficient customer service to existing clients by executing one car at a time. Giving it the attention it needs dependant on the car itself. This helps to flow work seamlessly in and out the workshop, creating a positive work flow. Products are retailed to customers who are suppliers and installers themselves, giving us the feedback on how much our products are helping them.

Our Vision

We have set a vision in place to become the leading supplier of air suspension in South Africa. To provide existing and potential customers with good quality product and services we currently have and will add on in future. To grow our team and hopefully inspire our youth to enter the trade.

What We Do Best

At Q-beams, we specialize in all things suspension from custom air suspension, coilover fabrication and installation to load lifters etc.

Airbag suspension

Our most popular and first service we ever offered. This involves the installation of airbags - front and rear. Along with management to lift the car up and down using the following components: switches, pneumatic dual needle gauge, 444c compressors, air tank/cylinder, solenoid block (VU2 or VU4) etc. This type of suspension is popular amongst the car culture as it can be lowered all the way to the ground creating a stance look.

Aircup suspension

Primarily used in sports cars, this is used to lift the car up to 50mm from the driving height, this helps the car move over speed bumps, steep drive ways, any obstacle that might result in you damaging or scraping your side skirts or bumpers a pro for air cup installation is if you have an air leak the car will rest on its driving height. Our air cups are made in house on our CNC machine. It includes management to help lift the car and drop it again to driving height.

Load lifters

A newer service introduced in 2024 when a client requested us to adjust his suspension to suit his needs for towing. We install air bags in the rear suspension and you are able install air in the bags at a petrol station if you want it inflated. The deflated bags helps the towing process become less strenuous on the rear of the bakkie.

Basic suspension

Coil over install, coil over conversion, replacement of shocks Install coil overs in all makes of vehicles Conversions made by client request, as standard coil overs cannot always fit correctly on some cars.

Basic car service

Suspension check, bushes change, oil changes of motor and gearbox etc

4x4 vehicles

Audi, Land Rover, Jeep etc These vehicles require a specific shock absorber for the make of the vehicle. We are able to replace components at a clients request.
